On 13 January 2016, Prof. Dr. János Fodor, Rector of the Óbudai University in Budapest and Dr. Rita Ősz, Director of the Office of International Cooperation, visited University of Novi Sad.

World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), headquartered in Geneva presented this year awards to two professors at the University of Novi Sad.

 On the 5th of December, 2015, The University of Novi Sad signed an Agreement on Cooperation with the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts (SASA). The Agreement was signed by Professor Dušan Nikolić, Rector, on behalf of the University, and by academician, Vladimir S. Kostić, the President of SASA, on behalf of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts.
